One of my fave things to do is layer my clothing! When I think of layering I think of it like baking a delicious layered cake. To make aΒ layered cake the pieces have to come together in harmony and the flavors have to mesh well. The same thing is the case with layering clothing. You have to put together layers that are cohesive that have depth and character.
For this Spring layered look I took light pieces that had depth yet would still not be overpowering or that would not get too hot!
The layers are:
Β a light dress-Zara
A lace see-through dress- Free People
And a long Spring Jacket-Vintage
I picked fun colors that are light and exude a sense of light and Spring time sophistication!
When layering for Spring and Summer make sure the pieces are light in fabrics for color to give off the correct vibe!
As I’m sure you’re well aware Valentine’s Day is next Friday! Which for one thing, how exciting is it to have all the major holidays on the weekend! I know some people aren’t on a traditional schedule. However , I’m super excited to have Valentine’s Day on a Friday! It’s just something about having it on the weekend that makes it better! I have put together a couple of outfits that would be awesome for the day of love! Remember you don’t have to have a significant other to celebrate love! You can celebrate with your kids by showering them with parental affection or celebrate with your best friend at your favorite restaurant or by seeing a movie with your tribe!
As youβll see I choose to add my touch of Red by wearing Red pumps! I however am all for wearing a red dress on Valentineβs Day as well!
Christmas Time! Itβs the most wonderful time of the year! Which also means tons of events and wondering what to wear! It can be overwhelming! Well I have a few ideas for you which I hope will take some of the pressure off!
Event: Christmas Party-Casual
I say you can never go wrong with an Ugly Christmas Sweater! They are festive and fun and allow you to eat without wearing something tight and constricting. Pair with a mini skirt and tights to dress it up a bit!
Remember, this is a work party so you dress with that in mind. A safe bet is wearing dressy office attire with a dash of Cheer! A sparkly top, pencil skirt and brooch would be perfect!
No matter what you do during this Christmas season I hope you have an amazing time with family and friends! God bless you and remember Jesus is the reason for the season. Try not to forget the important things. Being with the ones you love.
I seriously can’t believe another year has gone by. This year came and went so fast. I just want to thank you all for taking this fashion journey with me. I appreciate each one of you and I hope to have lots more fun this coming year.
Whatever you feel like you didn’t accomplish isn’t to dwell on. Evaluate what you can do better, write down your goals, hang them where you can see them and move forward. I hope to move forward together with you.
I want to share a few of my favorite looks with you and give you some Outfit inspiration for going out or staying in!
Happy New Year and God Bless you all!!
Until next time, stay chic dolls π

There are only a few days until Christmas, which means your days and nights like mine are probably jam packed with events! There are brunches to make, coffee to drink, cookies to bake, parties to go to etc. it can be exhausting trying to keep up. I’ve come up with a few Outfit ideas to help you get through this busy week!
Pajamas For Day and Night
Along with Athleisure, the pajama For Day trend has been gaining momentum. Make your Look work For Day and Night with a few items you probably already own!
Pair a stylish made for day robe with leggings, Tunic tee, and boots for a more casual look. To transition the look for a night out pair it with pumps. K/Lab Kimono
Speaking of Athleisure, this is one of fave styles of dress because it allows you to dress casually in an elevated way. Add faux fur and pumps to dress up the look!
Last but not least, the Christmas season is of course a time to dress up in your fanciest attire! Pretty much anything goes; lace, fur, sparkles, sequins, maxis, minis and of course Velvet!
