Hello Dolls!
I can not believe it’s December and I’m writing a blog about dressing for Christmas but alas here we are. I don’t know about you but I’m a Christmas Hallmark Girl through and through! I love all of the activities, markets, parties and food! With all of these activities it can be a daunting task to know what to wear for all of them. In this series I’m going to give you ideas for what to wear throughout the entire Christmas and Holiday season!
I will add to this post each day! Make sure you check out the reels and TikTok’s on Instagram and Facebook: @ trendaivie on all platforms!
Ok, let’s get into this fashion!
My first look is perfect for a going to a friend’s Semi-dressy Christmas party. The sequined Turban and silky pants elevate the look to a party look. Similar pieces linked!
Hey babes! Day 2’s look is a basic-ish grey dress with a slit! Add chic accessories to dress it up!
Day4’s Theme: Sequins!
Day Five’s Theme: Last Minute Christmas Shopping!

It has been so cold here in Minnesota, I thought this is the perfect time to wear my vintage long underwear! However, I’m not wearing it under my clothes I’m wearing it as a jumpsuit instead. To make it not look like underwear, I paired it with loafers to anchor the look. I added a long sweater to cover the bottom and make it a bit more “dressy”! Have a good day babes! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Sunday Funday!
I’m taking every opportunity to dress up! Today I’m heading to Starbucks! So naturally it only makes sense to wear a sequin dress and sweats!
Have a good evening dolls!

We are in the midst of the Christmas Season! That means sparkles, shine, coziness, etc!
As we all know this season isn’t exactly the same as far as going out to eat and activities go. However we can still have fun and dress festive! I will be featuring at least 2 looks per week to inspire your Christmas 🎄 Spirit!
🎄
Today I decided to show two ways to style one dress!
🎄
Pick your fave sparkly sheath and add a cozy cardigan. Accessorize with a warm knit cap.
You can pair with pumps or boots!
🎄
I hope this gave you some Holiday Inspiration 🎄

Hey Babes!
So it’s been such a weird time trying to figure out what day it is most days lol! However, I have been trying to keep busy by still trying out Spring trends, making my own etc! I have decided to show you how to style a slip dress for day!
Now babes this slip dress I’m wearing is actually a true vintage nightie! To wear a piece like this and not have it look like you’re walking a Victoria’s Secret runway is by pairing it with chic accessories and structured pieces!
I paired this vintage slip with pumps and an oversized pink jacket, I added a baseball hat to finish off the look!
Everything I’m wearing is sold out or vintage so I will link to similar styles!
Shop the look!
Smooches 😚 Stay Chic babes!

Hey Babes!
So I hope you are all hanging in there! I’ve decided to continue my theme of Wear The Dress! I love wearing dresses, I’m super girly at heart so when I go to my closet it’s usually the first thing I’ll reach for. With that being said I have a ton of dresses and some super fancy ones too, which leads me to beg the question of when do I wear it?!
The dress I decided to wear just because is one that has been sitting in my closet since before Thanksgiving. I was originally going to wear it for Thanksgiving and then I decided to wear something completely different. I love the flow and light weight feel! It’s a maxi that is definitely best suited for warm weather!
I purchased this dress on sale for $150 from Free People. It’s by Jen’s Pirate Booty
And it’s currently still for sale on their site! However, it’s gone back to its original price of $198.
my shoes are by Coach and mainly sold out but these have a similar vibe!
Jessica Simpson Ballet Flats $51
Similar Baseball Cap! Mine is from my boutique HippieSeamaid.com
may be sold out when you read this!

Hey dolls!
Today, I decided to wear one of my favorite dresses! I know the dress is a bit “extra” for a casual outing but I love it! I have had this dress for probably 8 years sitting in my closet brand new for all that time! I wore it for the first time for my latest round of maternity pics and have been trying to find the “perfect” time to wear it again ever since. However, now that we have to all be at home and there aren’t any restaurants or malls, etc open there isn’t anywhere “special” to wear it to! That’s when I decided special is any day and every day!
Stop waiting for the perfect time to wear something. The perfect time doesn’t exist! The perfect time is anytime. You are special so that’s reason enough to wear your favorite outfit! This quarantine has taught me to appreciate the little things even more so than I already did and to not take things like wearing my favorite outfit for granted.
So today I’m here to tell you wear the dress, blazer, shoes or whatever special thing you’ve been waiting to wear! There’s usually always a way to make it work for day!
For example, on its own my dress is pretty fancy, however, paired with this plaid top and flats it makes it a bit more approachable for day!
Dress and plaid top are both sold out from Free People.

One of my fave things to do is layer my clothing! When I think of layering I think of it like baking a delicious layered cake. To make a layered cake the pieces have to come together in harmony and the flavors have to mesh well. The same thing is the case with layering clothing. You have to put together layers that are cohesive that have depth and character.
For this Spring layered look I took light pieces that had depth yet would still not be overpowering or that would not get too hot!
The layers are:
a light dress-Zara
A lace see-through dress- Free People
And a long Spring Jacket-Vintage
I picked fun colors that are light and exude a sense of light and Spring time sophistication!
When layering for Spring and Summer make sure the pieces are light in fabrics for color to give off the correct vibe!
Have a Fabulous Day Dolls!!

Florals, Florals, Florals!
Nothing says Spring like sporting Florals! It’s timeless and fresh and just screams Spring.
Florals feel like a renewal of fresh and bright things to come!
As you all should know by now, I’m in love with all things vintage, from furniture to clothing, vintage is for me! It’s a great way to reuse what we have and be chic at the same time!
I’ve paired my vintage floral dress with my signature red pumps and a baseball hat to make this fancy dress more casual!
Usually I have my vintage finds for sale in my boutique, however this time I fell in love and kept the dress!
Here is a similar style!
Thanks for joining me dolls! I hope you continue to follow me on this Fashion Journey!
