Hello Dolls!
I can not believe it’s December and I’m writing a blog about dressing for Christmas but alas here we are. I don’t know about you but I’m a Christmas Hallmark Girl through and through! I love all of the activities, markets, parties and food! With all of these activities it can be a daunting task to know what to wear for all of them. In this series I’m going to give you ideas for what to wear throughout the entire Christmas and Holiday season!
I will add to this post each day! Make sure you check out the reels and TikTok’s on Instagram and Facebook: @ trendaivie on all platforms!
Ok, let’s get into this fashion!
My first look is perfect for a going to a friend’s Semi-dressy Christmas party. The sequined Turban and silky pants elevate the look to a party look. Similar pieces linked!
Hey babes! Day 2’s look is a basic-ish grey dress with a slit! Add chic accessories to dress it up!
Day4’s Theme: Sequins!

I love Spring! It’s one of the best times to play dress up because of the fun layering you can do! This outfit is simple yet has fun details!
For Spring layering I like to wear lighter pieces because it can be warmer during the day so you want to be comfortable and not overheat.
I paired a netted long sweater with a short sleeved sweatshirt to add depth and interest!
I kept the bottom half of the outfit simple with a strappy sandal and dark leggings!
I hope this inspires some Spring Layering!

The Hubby says I look like the perfect, milennial hipster in this pic! Yes, I’m a millennial. Therefore, I can laugh at myself; which I do often because what’s life without laughter! Moving Forward!
I, like a lot of people have embarked on a healthy eating journey this January. I actually have been doing a detox every January for the last 4 years and I have actually stuck it out each time and come away feeling better. This is not to brag, it is a challenge for me like most people to stick to a healthy eating routine. However, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to make it a bit bearable! I will share one of them here!
I typically try to eat healthy Year-round, however, at Christmas time I indulge a lot! Therefore, January is the perfect time to reset my body and get it back to normal. For my detox I can’t have milk, which really cramps my style because I love drinking coffee, Tea and Flat Whites, it’s literally an everyday thing. I usually drink tea as a replacement for my coffee during this time. More specifically as of late I’ve been drinking Matcha. Which are green tea leaves crushed into a powder form.
I love drinking Matcha because to me it has a creamier texture on its own. It helps me deal with the lack of milk I can have. I also like how filling it is!
Click the pic for a link to buy Matcha. I bought mine at Lunds and Byerlys in Edina, MN.
Green Tea has many benefits one of which is it contains antioxidants! For me, I use it to help curb my hunger during my detox and it’s also a great way to take a relaxing moment to yourself.
You can read more about Green Tea benefits here: Green Tea Facts
Back to how I drink it!
I follow the instructions on the tea’s packaging.
Then I add: Stevia( 0 calorie all natural sweetener), Vanilla Extract, and cream when I can!
I use a honey spoon to stir my Matcha!
I hope you enjoy this yummy drink! I love to drink Matcha whether I’m detoxing or not because to me it’s delicious!
Have a great Week!

I absolutely love breakfast food and I was really craving this place called the Pancake House which serves incredible breakfast. However, it’s only open until 3PM and I knew I wouldn’t make it there in time to not be annoying to all the staff, so I employed my second option which was to make something myself! I decided to go with an Egg Bake because I wanted the meal to be hearty so my family and I could have it for dinner! This is perfect for a brunch and/or entertaining!
I call this recipe : ©Ruby Madison’s French Egg Bake Souffle
Total Time: 1 hr 5 min
Prep: 5 min Cook: 1 hr This dish has about 6 to 8 servings
Supplies: 13 by 9-inch baking dish
Ingredients:
1 small-medium circular block of Brie Cheese
1 pound cheddar cheese, coarsely grated
12 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups sour cream
1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 two-pack of Refrigerated Pillsbury Pie Crusts
Rosemary, White Pepper, Thyme
Butter
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Butter the 13×9” baking dish and spread one of the pie crusts to cover the bottom of the pan. You will have to flatten crust by rolling to accomplish this. Cut the Brie Cheese lengthwise and arrange flat thin slices to cover the entire pie crust in pan.
Whisk the eggs with the sour cream and whipping cream in a large bowl until blended. Season with pepper, Rosemary, White Pepper, and Thyme, blend it evenly . Pour the eggs over the Brie cheese and pie crust bottom into the pan . Spread the cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the eggs. Roll out and Cut the second pie crust into thin strips and do a criss-cross pattern if possible over the top, and bake in the middle of the oven until golden, about 45 minutes. Salt to taste. Enjoy with coffee and bacon!
Until next time, stay chic dolls 💜

Hey Dolls,
This week has been so full of cooking, baking etc. I like to call it the season of eating lol. I made two things that were especially delicious and I’d like to share the recipes with you! One is a Prime Rib Roast and the other is an Egg Bake, I will share in another post.
Let’s Cook!
Whenever, I am in charge of Christmas dinner I make a Prime Rib Roast. This year I made a Roast with a recipe I got from the Pioneer Woman as a base. However, I made a couple of changes.
Ingredients
1 whole boneless rib eye (12 to 15 pounds)
Olive oil
1/4 cup tri-color peppercorns
5 sprigs fresh thyme
3 sprigs fresh rosemary
1/2 cup kosher salt
1/2 cup minced garlic
My added ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.
Cut the rib eye in half (roast halves separately for more controlled/even cooking).
Heat some oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear both rib eye halves until a nice dark golden color, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Place the peppercorns into a bag and crush with a rolling pin. Shred the leaves from the thyme and rosemary sprigs. Mix the salt with the crushed peppercorns, rosemary leaves, thyme leaves and garlic. Pour olive oil over the rib eye and pour on the rub mix. Pat slightly to get it to stick to the meat. Roast for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 275 degrees F and roast until a meat thermometer registers 125 for rare/medium-rare, about 20 more minutes (the roast will continue to cook slightly after removing from the oven). Remove from the oven and let rest for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.

There are only a few days until Christmas, which means your days and nights like mine are probably jam packed with events! There are brunches to make, coffee to drink, cookies to bake, parties to go to etc. it can be exhausting trying to keep up. I’ve come up with a few Outfit ideas to help you get through this busy week!
Pajamas For Day and Night
Along with Athleisure, the pajama For Day trend has been gaining momentum. Make your Look work For Day and Night with a few items you probably already own!
Pair a stylish made for day robe with leggings, Tunic tee, and boots for a more casual look. To transition the look for a night out pair it with pumps.
K/Lab Kimono
Speaking of Athleisure, this is one of fave styles of dress because it allows you to dress casually in an elevated way. Add faux fur and pumps to dress up the look!
Tulle Top from FreePeople
Last but not least, the Christmas season is of course a time to dress up in your fanciest attire! Pretty much anything goes; lace, fur, sparkles, sequins, maxis, minis and of course Velvet!
Lagoona-Seaweed Mermaid Sweatshirt
Slip Dress By LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s
I hope that these looks have inspired you! Have fun with your outfits this week Dolls, talk to you soon!
Merry Christmas!!
