We are in our final stretch of Winter! March is is here but we all know this doesn’t mean that warm weather happens right away. This simply means that we will have to Endure coldish-warmish in-between weather. This is were chic hosiery and leggings comes into play! I love being cozy however, I never want to sacrifice my style. I will show you a few ways to style your leg wear to get through this fickle weather!

Fishnets 

I love wearing fishnets they add that subtle chic-edge to an otherwise preppy outfit. 

When wearing fishnets try to keep most of your outfit fairly simple. Fishnets make an impact, a lot is not required to make a statement wth these!

Tights!

Tights are perfect for that in-between weather when it’s warm enough for a skirt yet too cold for legs to be bare! Don’t confuse tights as something that can only be worn on fancy occasions. Tights can also be worn with an athleisure vibe!

Leggings!

You know that feeling you get when you want to feel like a Mermaid? Awesome, you know it too?! Well I found one of the best ways to achieve that in a comfy way is through a pair of seagreen leggings! The denim jacket and pumps give the look a more grownup vibe!

When you think of sequins, what typically comes to mind is an evening out with friends or a haute date(see what I did there?! LOL) anyways all jokes aside most think of a fancy occasion and/or event. However, for a few years now the trend has gone away from simply keeping sequins for night attire and has transitioned into day! If you are still iffy or unsure of how to rock the trend I want to give you a couple of ideas!

I’m shocked at how warm it is right now in Minnesota! Usually at this time of the year I’m bundled up in every warm thing I can find and trying to keep from freezing. However, this weekend has been refreshingly warm and such a nice reprieve from the cool weather. 

I decided to wear a chic sweat set to celebrate the 57 degree weather!

I paired it with my lovely new Tory Burch mini pumps which were a Valentine’s Day gift from the hubby.

Hey dolls,

It’s been so cold the last few weeks in Minnesota. I know you’re probably thinking isn’t it always cold in Minnesota? LOL, well no, not always and it’s been exceptionally cold even for us. It can be hard to know what to wear when you still want to look chic despite the cold weather. I have put together a few looks to give you some inspiration!

I used 3 staple pieces so I can show you how just changing things slightly can totally change your look!

Top- This Is My Too Tired Too Function Sweatshirt  by my Paper Pearl Boutique 

You could use another Chic graphic Top to achieve the look

Jeans-Black Van kingpins- One Teaspoon
-I would buy a size up if you want baggy, but check size chart.

Athleisure

It’s pretty easy to make this style of dress look sloppy if you don’t accessorize the right way. Make sure to wear a watch, necklace and/or earrings to dress the look up a bit.

Chic

For a Chic look, try to pick one standout piece and go neutral for the rest of your look!

Casual-Glam

This is probably my favorite way to dress! I love faux fur as a layering piece to add just a dab of glam. Add something sparkly like a barrette or headband for that finishing touch!
