Hard to believe it’s already time for you to find something to wear as you walk around in your aunt’s living room, but here we are! The goal should be comfort and chic since you will spend the majority of the time eating! Here I have laid out a few options to give you inspiration for your Turkey Day Ensemble!
It’s the first day of September which to me means: Apple Orchards, Pie, Squash, Warm soup, sweaters, boots, pumpkin Patches, etc!
Now I know it’s not technically Fall yet but I thought I’d wear something warm and cozy because it feels like it already here in Minnesota!
I wore my vintage high waisted Lee’s with a cropped Wildfox Sweatshirt! The sweatshirt has a mermaid theme with the seashell bra and the skeleton nods to Fall!
Summer is definitely not over but the weather has started to change over. It’s a bit cooler now and I find myself reaching for sweaters and long sleeves to pair with my frillier pieces.
Today I decided to grab my lace dress and layer it with a vintage tee and vintage button down shirt!
The button down is actually a men’s shirt but it’s great for that oversized look!
The button down top and tee can be purchased on my Instagram: HippieSeamaid or my Poshmark: HippieSeamaid
Until next time, stay chic dolls π

As we are nearing the end of August it makes me want to cram in all the summertime fun!
Don’t get me wrong I love Fall but there’s something so magical about summer.
I love the drives and walks around the lake, ice cream late at night with the kids, sitting outside reading a good book, patio appetizers at my fave restaurant and the list goes on!
When I put on this dress it just reminded me of summer! I love the colors and the way it swings!
I paired it with my wood platforms to keep with the Boho Vibe!
I hope you all are enjoying the last bits of summer, because although we have about a month left; time seems to be flying by.
The great thing about the 4th of July weekend like so many other holidays; is that there are usually a plethora of sales! Since we are still in the middle of summer it’s great to have a mid season sale to freshen up your wardrobe!
When shopping a sale it’s a great opportunity to get that piece you’ve been longing to get and to try a new trend. It’s also a great time to snatch up a few pieces for the Fall season that may be hanging around in the sale section from last season!
Below I will show you a few of my faves from a few of my go-to stores!
My gosh it’s been forever since we spoke so I apologize! To give you an update; I had another baby so I’ve been insanely busy and tired π€
However, now that we’ve settled into a sorta routine I will be blogging once a week! So be ready to hear more from me!
Now on to the fashion!
I can’t believe how quickly the 4th is coming up! It seems as if I was just getting done with Easter now it’s already the end of June!
I love Independence Day! It’s usually hot and it’s a great day to be outside and hang with family and friends. It’s always fun to dress in America’s colors while doing it! However, I’m a firm believer in making sure outfits for holidays aren’t super “cliche looking!” I believe it’s important to purchase pieces that can be worn more than once and easily incorporated into your everyday wardrobe. You can easily add accessories to make your outfit look more patriotic!
First, a classic look that’s always an option-shorts!
A pair of chic shorts in classic denim or white would be a perfect choice to celebrate the 4th of July! Shorts are great for wearing to picnics and other outdoor events!
Next, leggings! This athleisure fave is a no brainer if you want to be comfy and stylish at the same time! Make it work for the hot weather by switching out leggings for a pair of biker shorts instead! Pair with flats and a tunic top to give it a daytime look rather than looking like you’re about to hit the gym!
