The military trend has staying power as we have seen in many boutiques and stores spring collections. It can sometimes be hard to figure out how to wear this trend. However,I have found out a way to make it both casual and dressy.

To start out with the casual look, I paired this oversized military jacket with a graphic tee and shorts. I paired it with pumps, however you could do a pointed ballet flat or wedge would also work well. I would stir clear of military style boots with the military jacket. You want to look put together and chic not like Rambo.

Next my glammed up look! This is my fave because it is so unexpected. I paired the same military jacket with a sequin dress and cap-toe pumps. This is perfect for a night out! If you want to wear it for day try pairing it with a flat instead. An ankle bootie would be good to make this work as a daytime look as well.

You could also have the best of both worlds by pairing a military jacket with sequin shorts and a v-neck top and pumps.

Accessories with both looks should be simple. I would pair both outfits with an oversized clutch that can go from day to night.

Well there you have it, that’s how I will be styling my military jacket in the upcoming warmer months!
