The Christmas and holiday season means that shine, shimmer and sequins are everywhere! It is great to have something shimmery to wear to all of your fun seasonal events. However, then begs the question what do we do with this beloved shiny piece of clothing that we love? Well if you are me then you โ€œdressโ€ it down and wear it for day!

So, my shimmery  sequin piece I will talk about are a pair of sequin gold pants from

Free People that I love! Sequin Party Pants $168.00

I dressed up my sequin pants with a gray tank and structured blazer. I kept the accessories to a minimum;the pants say enough on their own! Finish the look with a nude pump to elongate the leg.

So this outfit is great for a night out but is a bit much for day.

I dressed the pants down with a hoodie and flats, however make sure that the hoodie you pair it with is not your average frumpy hoodie or your outfit will look off. This hoodie is from my online boutique: Ruby Madison Boutique. The Coco Glam Hoodie $120.00

When it gets warmer you can pair with a silky tank or tee and flats or pumps.

So there you have it, thatโ€™s how I make my sequin pants work for day, night and all year long!
