A place where fashion lives!

The 4th of July~ America the Beautiful!

I love, love, love the 4th of July! It is a great day of unity and appreciation of the freedom we are able to have here in America. When you think of the 4th of July of course you think of red, white and blue and stripes and stars. However, I am telling you now don’t try to wear all of those at once. Some people get too literal with showing pride for America through clothing and make it very cheesy. There are great ways to show American pride through your clothing in a stylish fashion-forward way, let me show you how!

First pick one main color. Choose one color and accent it with your accessories. If you are going to be active participating in sports activities, an amusement park, carnival or swimming etc. I would opt to wear shorts. If you are going to be having a more relaxed day than you can wear something more dressy like a dress.

Outfit for the girl on the go! Monochromatic Blue!

Martine Dot Denim Shirt by DV by Dolce Vita $88.00

J Brand Cutoff Shorts $110.60

What says Americana more than a pair of cutoff shorts! If you are a curvier fashionista wear a pair of mid-length denim shorts

Kadiee $69.95 Steve

pack a pair of tennies if you are actually going play sports

MARC BY MARC JACOBS ‘Preppy Nylon Sasha’ Crossbody Bag $198.00

This bag is great for housing all your needs for the day.

Large Button Stud Earring By: Tinley Road $12.00

Bead Cluster Pendant Necklace by Tinley Road $14.97

Great lil pop of red!

The outfit for the laid back fashionista:

State & Lake Pineapple Bustier Mini Dress $110.00

Pammy $55.00 Steve

Botkier ‘Stella’ Clutch $196.90

The earrings and necklace repeat

Large Button Stud Earring By: Tinley Road $12.00

Bead Cluster Pendant Necklace by Tinley Road $14.97

Great alternatives while still using similar accessories: a tan or denim romper, a white flowy dress, denim shirt and white shorts

I hope you enjoyed my Independence Day Picks! Have a happy, safe and fun 4th of July!
