It is April now which means travel time! Many people are planning vacations and are starting to embark on their warm weather adventures. When you travel there’s always the question of what to wear. Personally I am always thinking how can I be comfortable while still looking chic. Also the mode of transportation will determine what you can wear. I will outline my choices of stylishly comfortable travel attire!
Let’s Start with traveling by Plane. There are so many restrictions and regulations it is hard to keep up with what is and isn’t a good idea for travel attire. I prefer when possible to wear open-toed shoes so I don’t have to go barefoot through the check point. In addition, try not to have too many medals on your person to avoid beeping too much; it would be no fun to have the extended search. Great things to wear: Maxi skirt and light weight long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve top, gladiator sandals and accessorize with a scarf! If you aren’t a fan of skirts, switch out the skirt for a pair of riding pants and gladiators for pointy ballet flats.

Trains are not typically a form of transportation you hear people speaking of often however; people do still take them. Unlike your usual air travel, on a train there is usually a dining car. On some train rides there are long bouts of time in other cities to get out and explore. It would be best to dress up a bit more since this type of travel involves more interaction. Great things to wear: High quality tee, pullover sweater to wear on the train, blazer for time in the city, chino pants, flats for the train and platforms for the city. Top with pearls!

Last but definitely not least travel by car. Traveling by car is still one of the most popular and fun ways to travel! I love stopping at all of the restaurants along the way that you usually don’t get to eat at like Chic Fil A , Waffle House, Steak and Shake the list goes on! Okay what are we talking about, oh yeah clothes! If you are sitting in a car for hours on end comfort is number one then add style. When traveling by car you have to keep in mind rest stops and dusty gas stations that aren’t so clean. It is best to wear clothes that won’t drag to stay as clean as possible. Great things to wear: Tunic top belted at waist with leggings, ballet flats or loafers.Be sure to pack blankets, pillows and a comfy sweater!
